FEATURES: Clamping screw that accepts a wide assortment of swivel feet. Socket-head version allows applying strong clamping force using a hex wrench. Available in steel or stainless steel.

SWIVEL FOOT: Swivel Screw Clamps use our patented left-hand-thread swivel-foot system. The ball end of the body screws into the foot for easy installation and removal. Once the ball threads pass beyond the foot threads, the foot can rotate and pivot freely (20° total angle). Foot threads are left-hand to positively prevent accidental back-out during use. Delrin® feet are optional for types A and B. To order with a Delrin® foot, add "N" to the part number, e.g. CL-1-SSCN. Note: Delrin® feet are not threaded – they snap on and off. DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS: For full hex-socket strength, the socket end of the body should be entirely inside its tapped hole during final tightening.
MATERIAL (STEEL): Body > 12L14 or 1144 steel, heat treated, zinc plated yellow chromate (black oxide finish optional). Steel foot > 12L14 steel, zinc plated yellow chromate (black oxide finish optional). Delrin® foot > White Delrin® 500.
MATERIAL (STAINLESS): Body and stainless foot > 300-series stainless, passivated. Delrin® foot > White Delrin® 500. |
